REVIVAL

I had over heard a few people comment that they selfishly got out what they put into the revival, which is their own personal refilling. I contend that this is not selfish but more Biblical. Remember Moses on Mount Sinai, remember Elijah on Mount Carmel, remember Christ in the Garden, remember Christ at several different opportunities getting alone with God. This is a must, especially in today society. We have to not just slow down but actually stop! and spend time with God. We need to be refilled, rejunivated, revitalized or we can't do anyone else any good. It is times like these that I remember verses like, Psalm 46:10 "Be still and know that I am God" or Psalm 69:32 "The humble have seen it and are glad; You who seek God, let your heart revive"or who could forget Psalm 85:6 "Will You not Yourself revive us again, That Your people may rejoice in You?" These are but a few great verses on revival. God send revival so that His children can and will be refilled and then go out and fulfill the God given mission, taking His message of Good News to other so that they too might come to know Him!"
